I hope someday this problem with homeless in america will end. America is a country of great plenty yet we see people like Joni who have to sleep on park benches , I see men and women without homes in my home town , my city is over run with churches and on cold winter nights when I see a man or woman sitting on a park bench or standing outside a Gas station begging for change, I ask myself where are the ministers who stand in their pulpits on Sundays and preach about the importance of showing compassion to those in need. Can't more of these hundreds of churches open their doors for a few hours and let these men and women in to stay warm or provide them with clothing and a meal? America needs a Mother Theresa. Thank You for showing us the plight of being homeless and keeping us aware of this problem.

It makes me realise just how fortunate I am and to appreciate more of what I have. Waking up with food in the morning...I just can't imagine not having this!

Thank you Joni for opening my eyes just a little!
