He has Hep C which was identified when he first went in. A prison doctor told him his choice was to get clean or die. My son has been clean for more than 4 years now and we, as his family, plan to help him stay clean. We will also support him to keep him off the street and help him get a job. If we as a society don't help our ex-offenders get clean, turn their lives around, maintain their dignity and get decent jobs our country will never be free of crime, homelessness, poverty and despair! Too much money is spent by large corporations on their CEO's and too little on the "little or invisible" people!
