SOCKS!!!! I started to talking to people around here about what could I do to help out that people don't always think of and they consistently said socks. Ever since then, I've been giving out socks like a crazy person and I've only met one person who turned them down. Pretty interesting to see you reached similar conclusions. Great work – love the site.

I certainly had not considered that, but according to the Rasmuson Foundation "The average age of a homeless person in Alaska is nine years old. Families with children represent the fastest growing segment of the homeless population..."
