I hope you see what I see.

I met Magic in New Orleans. For some time no one was even approaching her. I am sure most people look at people like Magic with disgust.

What I see is a girl who grew up hard on the streets having to do things to survive that no person should have to do. What I see is a lonely woman who has a lot of hurt.

I hope you see what I see.

    what a sweetie it never ceases to amaze me the humor a lot of these folks have. I don’t remember having that good of an attitude when i was broke and living on the streets. Magic was so right in what she said about women and how we have many different issues being homeless. There is a lot of abuse and shame and guilt that goes along with being a homeless woman. Video’s like this makes me wish I could hit the lottery so i could do something about ending homelessness. Where are all these billion and millions that some rich folks have? Peace

    A smart gal [with HOPE & FAITH] who’s put trust into others who don’t ”deserve” it… {stems from loneliness}. I ”see” that she may have learned a lesson ”the hard knox way” from last ex. She is someone I’d allow into my home for a meal {or 2,3, or more}, shower, couch! And her 3 wishes… AMAZING to say… those are MY 3 wishes!!! :-) I will defo pray for her!

    Ya know, I’ve thought so often of your last sentence… WHERE? WHY? … As I’ve ”watched” & “listened” over the years; homelessness has a stigma my MANY {including Christians}. It’s a shame that invisible persons are looked down upon!!! :-( Bleeds my heart b/c so many become homeless NOT out of their own doing – IF I were evicted from my dwelling, I’d be homeless again as I’m here ONLY b/c it’s subsidized – NO WAY could I afford ”reg. cost” apt on my disability check AND there’s no one NEAR me who’d let me stay!!! Heck, I cannot even get a ride to church half the time! And I’m NOT a bad person!!! Peace to you also, Newby1961 :-)
