Rails

I met Rails “flying a sign” in Denver. Kind of threw me off when he told me he lost everything from smoking crack. I mean, look at him. He’s barely 20.

Rails, like many homeless youths, end up traveling all over the country. Many hop trains. I didn’t ask, but that could be how he got his the name “Rails”.

Rails like Denver, a city that seems to attract homeless youth, and the predators exploiting them.

“Living one day at a time, left foot in front of the right” is all Rails could say about his future.

We imagine a world where everyone has a place to call home. Until then, we strive to be the most trusted source for homelessness.
