I met Jeff in Vancouver, British Columbia. When I asked him what a day was like he responded “pretty much invisible”.

Jeff got a job and the guy that hired him offered him a place to stay. When the place was robbed Jeff was thrown out because he was an ex-drug addict and ex-homeless person.

Total, Jeff has been on the streets six years. When he sleeps inside he now feels caged.

Jeff is very smart. He knew a lot about cameras and we had a great conversation before and after this video.

Please do me a favor; watch and listen to what Jeff wants the public to know about homelessness.

Thanks again Mark, and Thank You Jeff; Each of us out here ARE unique individuals with our own, stories, problems, strengths, and solutions. Lumping everyone under the mantle of “The Homeless” and searching for or trying to implement wholesale, warehouse answers can create even more problems than it resolves and sometimes remove the one last thing anybody out here on the streets needs if they are to be able to lift themselves back up into the ‘acceptable’ levels of society…………….their dignity.

Wow. I am humbled. I just lost my cell phone, my truck is in the shop and I can’t afford to get it out, I will lose my internet on monday and I am not sure how I will have rent in two weeks. But I still have a roof and a bed and I am blessed in many ways. Thank you. Not only is this a humbling reminder that I am blessed but it is such a reminder that I need to also have a helping perspective and not treat anyone as invisible! Thank you and I am sorry for how I have been.

Suffering all around us, and as we do at times take the time to smell the Roses… the living human has become… invisible.  God help us to help those in need.  Amen.

Love the videos – very candid… but the black background with white print is hard to read.  I just figured it was me, but when I forwarded to a couple of people, they had a really tough time reading the printed stories.
