Mark, or @hardlynormal as the Internet knows him, is an internationally recognized activist who tells the story of the countless individuals without a voice– those living in shelters, motels, tents, alongside streets and under highway bridges. Mark is also the Chief Marketing Officer at the Rescue Mission Alliance of Syracuse, where he works together with a team of creatives using content marketing to reduce costs and increase results. The Huffington Post named him one of 11 Twitter activists you should follow. Youtube gave Invisible People unprecedented exposure allowing Horvath to curate YouTube’s homepage for a day. Mark was the first nonprofit to speak at Twitter, Inc. In 2011 Mark was commissioned by Canadian Government to travel to 24 Canadian cities and help champion the Canadian Alliance to End Homelessness. Mark has consulted for Los Angeles Police Department, City of San Francisco, and USC Annenberg School for Communication & Journalism, Mencap, and St Mungo’s Broadway among many others. Mark is a regular presenter at UCLA, USC, NYU, Syracuse University, and educational institutions around the world. Mark regularly works with major brands on cause campaigns such as Hanes, Ford, and Virgin Mobile.
