Michelle was in an abusive relationship for 30 years. She left to Chicago to get away, but without an income, she ended up on the streets homeless. Michelle’s granddaughter also left an abusive relationship. They are both homeless.
Michelle never thought she would be on the streets panhandling to survive. She says you just never know. It can happen to anybody.
