Natural disaster, as per\u00a0Merriam-Webster<\/a>:\u00a0\u201ca sudden and terrible event in nature (such as a hurricane, tornado, or flood) that usually results in serious damage and many deaths.\u201d<\/h4>\n

Like other terrible events that occur naturally and unexpectedly, homelessness takes its victims by storm.<\/span><\/p>\n

In an eye-opening\u00a0<\/span>Twitter thread<\/span><\/a>, Dr. Margot Kushel of the UCSF Department of Medicine pondered what it might be like if we lived in a world that treated homelessness like the disaster it is.<\/span><\/p>\n
