Gerardo

At 15, Gerardo was kicked out by his mother for being gay. Gerardo is one of the many reasons I support gay rights.

Homelessness is bad enough as is. Being of a different sexual orientation should never keep people from support services. But unfortunately that is exactly what happens.

Many of you have heard me say this before and I do my best to live it daily:

“I don’t care who you worship or what you believe, I don’t care who you sleep with. If you are helping hurting people, you’re my friend and I will support you”

Any and all discrimination is unacceptable and we can all stop the ignorance. Please don’t allow people around you to be treated differently just because they are different.

Special thanks to Destination: Home
