Michael is homeless in Toronto, Canada. He has walking pneumonia. Michael has been in and out of the hospital. The night we met, it was cold and damp. I can tell you first hand, living on the streets with a cold is horrible. You can never find the rest needed to get better!
Michael ended up homeless because of a relationship has gone bad. He lost his place to stay and end up on the streets with his two dogs. For people experiencing homelessness with pets, it’s nearly impossible to access support services.
