Victor is homeless in Chicago. He says panhandling is the better of other options to survive homelessness. To Victor, a person has to be strong to panhandle.

Victor shows us the scar he has from someone stabbing him while sleeping on a train. Many people feel safer and are able to get out of bad weather by sleeping on public transportation.

Victor lived with his brother until his brother passed away from a heart attack. He then tired living in shelters but found he felt safer on the streets.
